Great health food market in Bushwick providing large variety of products , coffee, bagels, sandwiches, and hot food as well. Lots of options with a great staff that is friendly.
Nice, spacious, clean and has a great product assortment. My son lives a block away and hadn't been in here and I was shocked. Would like to see more shelf stable plant-based milk options but they had everything, including bags made from recycled materials since I didn't bring one. Bought shampoo and conditioner and half gallon of whole milk. Surprised by the extensive beer offerings!
Hana Natural is conveniently located around the corner from the Jefferson St (L) station and houses a variety of organic, health-conscious brands for all your needs. They have a deli section though I have never ventured there. The market is always open and always clean and tidy. The aisles are wide and well-stocked. Great place to pick up some snacks and drinks!
Can be hit or miss. Large, clean, and bright store. Come for the great selection of reasonably-priced made-to-order sandwiches, natural foods, chocolate selections, beverages, and beers. Deli folks are usually pretty nice but the check out folks seem rude. Maybe they deal with too much nonsense on a daily basis that they can't be bothered, but it's not hard to be a bit kinder. Pre-Covid they had tables you could sit at to eat the food you ordered.
2017 We came in here before our graffiti tour that meets in front of the next door coffee shop. We smelled the delicious sandwiches from out side. We did not expect to order sandwiches at 10:00 am but after looking at the menu we had too. I have a horrible memory so the fact that I remember the delicious pastrami sandwich says a lot. I know that everyone was happy with their selection. We grabbed waters for the 2 hour tour and we were all set. We sat at the bench in front and enjoyed our sandwiches. This store caters to healthy diets. So many delicious looking treats. If I lived in the area I would shop here, prices are a little higher. It's expensive to eat healthy. Open 24 hours, I am not sure if the deli is open 24 hour or just the store. Seems like a popular place in the area, lots of people when we were there.
Food: 4/5 Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. First of all, this place is open 24 hours a day which is awesome. Second, this place doubles as an organic supermarket and also has a deli section. I've found some hard to find items in this supermarket. They have everything from fruit, produce and protein to natural soaps and moisturizers. I tried to find vegan cheese here and had no luck but they have a great selection of most products such as specialty drinks, mochi and a lot more. Third, the deli is also open 24 hours. The sandwiches are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I've had numerous sandwiches from here, most recently being the Godfather 1 for $10. It was packed with prosciutto and soppressata! Service: 4/5 The only interaction/service you receive here is either at checkout or at the deli. Nonetheless, everyone here has been super professional and friendly. Ambiance: 5/5 Super clean supermarket. A bit small but understandable for a local market. Overall: 4/5 Great local supermarket. Pretty small but very clean and well organized. Not comparable to Whole Foods but a gem in the neighborhood.
